About

Be Bold, Be Brave, Be Empowered

I am Kristi Massey, the founder of Nurturing Hearts Therapy, and I'm so happy you're here. With more than 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in educational settings—including 19 years as a school counselor—I’ve supported countless young people and their families as they navigate the ups and downs of growing up. From coping with anxiety and building self-esteem to managing major life transitions, I offer a warm, down-to-earth approach grounded in real-world experience. My background in education has shown me how powerful a safe, supportive environment can be in helping individuals thrive. In counseling, I strive to create that kind of space—a place where you or your child can feel truly heard, understood, and supported in discovering strengths and working toward meaningful change. At Nurturing Hearts, I believe that everyone deserves time and space to reflect, reset, and grow. Whether you're looking for support for your child, navigating parenting challenges, or exploring your own personal development, I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we can find a way forward that feels right for you. - Kristi Massey
